We are looking for a Events, Outreach and Communications Officer with a passion for the natural world and the skills to communicate with audiences in engaging ways.<\/p>\n

Events, Outreach and Communications Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Location<\/strong>: Home-based, strong preference for EU<\/p>\n

Salary and benefits<\/strong>: Self-employed – 1,500-1,900\u20ac\/monthly gross full time. As self-employed the successful candidate will be responsible for their own tax and social security arrangements. Travel expenses covered and holiday entitlement are part of the benefits of the position.<\/p>\n

Joint meeting of Staff and Management and Advisory Boards<\/strong>: The successful applicant will be invited to join the annual meeting of Staff and Management and Advisory Boards in Serbia between Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 April.<\/p>\n

Role description\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Vulture Conservation Foundation has access to a wealth of interesting stories about vultures and the work to protect and conserve them across Europe. The role of Events and Communications Officer will involve promoting and raising awareness of our work and the work of our partners using a our online communications channels in effective ways to reach our strategic audiences. You\u2019ll need to be highly collaborative, working across the organisation to build close working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally with our many partners. The role will involve you being proactive in news-gathering, keeping up to date with the latest updates from a variety of different partners and projects and liaising with partners to source news and content. You\u2019ll ensure that our communications are clear, consistent and well-targeted, aligning\u00a0 messaging across our channels, and bringing our work to life with smart, engaging and audience-focused content.<\/p>\n
