Spirale and Troubadour, two young <a href=\"https:\/\/4vultures.org\/pt\/vultures\/bearded-vulture\/\">Bearded Vultures (<em>Gypaetus barbatus<\/em>)<\/a>, have just been released onto a hacking ledge in the Parc Naturel R\u00e9gional du Vercors \u2014 marking another exciting milestone for the <a href=\"https:\/\/gypact.fr\/\">LIFE GypAct project<\/a> and the ongoing return of this magnificent species to southern France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXfd1-Yg1lbYq4MGe2d-jSky1VTg-qRkpRUvo_5uL3emgXiHKUGooCol2QCTTsY-pSn1aSdTz3y2mv8loH2WPNF8fYc-mJQ9uI43rfLIubQ4zs_kL-8kOvEjqnEVF26VpfirwRozpg?key=xHQn89rwBCqjRTzpvKaI6A\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:749px;height:auto\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Spirale and Troubadour being carried to the release site \u00a9 LIFE GypAct<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the release of <a href=\"https:\/\/4vultures.org\/pt\/blog\/two-bearded-vultures-released-in-the-grands-causses-france\/\">Ushuaia and Ubac on 27 May,<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/4vultures.org\/pt\/blog\/bearded-vulture-univers-joins-ubac-and-ushuaia-in-the-grands-causses-france\/\">Univers on 10 June in Grands Causses<\/a>, Spirale and Troubadour are now the latest additions to the population in Southern France.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meet Spirale and Troubadour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Troubadour hatched on March 18 at Pairi Daiza Zoo in Belgium and was reared at the Puy du Fou &#8211; both valuable parts of the <a href=\"https:\/\/4vultures.org\/pt\/our-work\/captive-breeding\/bearded-vulture-eep\/\">Bearded Vulture EEP captive breeding network<\/a>. His \u201cgodparents\u201d are Pauline Guillot, a mountain farmer producing the regional <em>Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage<\/em> cheese, and Gr\u00e9goire, a representative of the <em>AOP Picodon<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spirale hatched on March 14 at Tiergarten Nuremberg in Germany, another important centre in the <a href=\"https:\/\/4vultures.org\/pt\/our-work\/captive-breeding\/bearded-vulture-eep\/\">Bearded Vulture EEP network<\/a>. VCF oversees global captive Bearded Vulture efforts, ensuring coordination and adherence to EEP guidelines. As coordinators of the Bearded Vulture Captive Breeding Network, we optimize breeding outcomes and maintain conservation efforts across Europe.
