This week they saw the first hatchlings \u2013 like the one in the photo, a 10-15 days old baby Egyptian vulture in a nest on the Portuguese side of the canyon.<\/p>\n<p> The Egyptian vulture is Europe\u2019s most threatened vulture species \u2013 classified as \u201cEndangered\u201d at global level.
