Who We Are
MÓNICA MORENO
Project Assistant
Having been born in Madrid, Mónica studied there and received both a Bachelor's Degree in Economic Sciences in Autonoma University and a Master's Degree in International Business Management in ESIC. Most of her life has been spent in small towns in central and northern Spain, where her love of nature led to her taking several courses and attending seminars about local wildlife and nature conservation since 2010.
She fell in love with vultures, participating in the V Griffon Vulture National Census in 2018, and she has been a proud member of SEO Birdlife and AMUS ever since. She now combines studying for the High Technician in Forestry and Natural Environmental Conservation Diploma with volunteering in conservation programs in national and local organizations. With great enthusiasm, she takes part in census, forestry activity, education and any work needed in Regional, Natural or National Parks programs around Spain.
As the project assistant for the Vulture Programmes Manager in VCF, she gives support on logistic tasks in LIFE projects she is involved with and develops other business administrative functions for the VCF team based in Spain.
