The Bearded Vulture is an unmistakable bird, both for its breathtaking features and its unique behaviour. Even though it is the rarest vulture species in Europe, its population is on the rise thanks to extensive reintroduction and conservation efforts, many led by us at the Vulture Conservation Foundation (VCF) and our partners.
