Communications Officer position

The Vulture Conservation Foundation (VCF) is looking for a full-time Communications Officer to craft compelling content and give voice to our mission and project portfolio. As the leading organisation working for vulture conservation in Europe, the VCF is now managing several large-scale projects, including EU-funded LIFE projects, in many different countries.

Tasks include also managing and updating the website and social media platforms, ensuring consistent content delivery. We seek a skilled communicator with the ability to harvest and transform technical information into easy-to-understand and engaging narratives. If you have what it takes and are passionate about wildlife (and vultures in particular), then we want to hear from you.

  • Home-based in Europe
  • Deadline for application: Sunday, 4 February 2023 at 23:59 CET. Applications received after the closing date will be automatically discarded.

You would preferably have a background in communications, marketing, journalism, or similar, a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, and showcase a strong content writing portfolio.
