With around 200 abstract submissions, the event will uncover insights into vulture behaviour and ecology across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Topics span diverse vulture species and focus on research areas like population status, monitoring, poisoning, energy infrastructure impacts, movement ecology, vulture health/emerging diseases, and ex-situ conservation. Renowned keynote speakers will provide diverse perspectives, fostering inspiring discussions among the scientific community. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the vulture-rich region of Extremadura through a cultural visit to Cáceres, a celebration dinner, and unforgettable field trips.

Ticket options:

  • Regular Early Bird Ticket: 150 euros (after 6 August: 180 euros)
  • Discounted Early Bird Ticket: 100 euros (after 6 August: 130 euros)
    • Eligible for students, people from the United Nations’ list of Least Developed Countries, VCF’s current LIFE project, and IBM partners.

What is included:

Registration includes 3-day access to all talks, workshops, and poster sessions, as well as morning and afternoon coffee breaks during the conference. Lunch meals for all conference days, a cultural visit to Cáceres, a celebration dinner, and field trips are also part of the package. Upon request, you will also receive a certificate of attendance.
