The international bearded vulture observation days took place from the 10 – 19 October 2014. On the focus day, the 11th October, hundreds of volunteers were in the mountains, trying to count as many bearded vultures as possible. In some regions, the weather was not favorable with rain, wind and fog. All data are now being collected and compiled on a regional level and then later analysed for the whole Alpine Arc.
The VCF would like to thank all volunteers that braved the rain to count bearded vultures. Together for Vultures!
