The VCF will be signing today a collaboration agreement with the Departament d’Agricultura, Ramaderia, Pesca, Alimentació i Medi Natural from the Generalitat of Catalonia, in which both parts agree to work together for the management of the captive bearded vulture population housed at the Generalitat´s own wildlife recovery centres. This agreement recognises that the VCF will technically manage this captive population.

The event will take place today at 13.30 at the headquarters of the Department in Barcelona (Grand Via de les Corts Catalanes 612-614), and the agreement will be signed between the HBLE. SR. JOSEP MARIA PELEGRÍ, Conseller (Minister) of the Departament d’Agricultura, Ramaderia, Pesca, Alimentació i Medi Natural and Mr. DANIEL HEGGLIN, President of the VCF board. The event will be accompanied by a press conference.
